Social networking has many uses and benefits to society. Users can portray themselves in a good way, making people when they meet them view them accordingly. Social networks allows the meeting of new people and can help with the reaching in contact of old people.  Social networks can provide news to people even more fast than news stations can cover it sometimes. Law officials tend to use social networks to crack down on criminals. Social networks can serve as a platform to help students discuss homework. If used appropriately, users can befriend get careers from an appropriate profile.

As far as the dark side, Social media has been known to spread false and negative information. They also often lack privacy, enabling government intrusions. Students who use social media too much tend to have lower grades. It can cause unnecessary problems in relationships as well. Social networks cause people to be prone to stalkers and other creeps. I think its possible that there will be alot of group video chat as social media goes. I think visuals have to become more intense and dynamic. I'm talking three dimension here. Intense marketing will probably take place as well. i'm sure with good comes the bad, there will be more privacy risk too.
